Merchandise Design | Mug
In addition to being my beloved sister, @sweaterfreak is a knitting and pattern designer with a growing niche following. I was asked to create a vector design to print on a mug with the words, “talk to the hand, I’m knitting” in black and white for an Instagram giveaway.
Design Rationale: Given the cheeky phrasing I used loud elements such as bold font in capital letters and an open hand in the middle. Since this was for an audience of knitters, I incorporated imagery of a ball of yarn and knitting needles.
